For two consecutive years—both in 2006 and 2007—Wisconsin Super Lawyers has named Michael Cicchini a “Rising Star” in the area of criminal defense.  This designation is awarded to only 2 ½ percent of attorneys in Wisconsin, and is published annually in the December issue of Milwaukee Magazine. 

The honor is awarded based on several factors, including an initial survey of 12,000 Wisconsin attorneys, followed by independent research into the nominated attorney’s accomplishments such as jury verdicts, honors and awards, and scholarly publications among other things.
